Welcome to our first Australian Clarinet and Saxophone Festival news! Plans are well underway, and we are looking forward to welcoming an exciting line up of performers to present much-loved and little known repertoire across 4 days of music, masterclasses, talks and discussions.
News this week
Registrations are now open. We have full festival passes, day passes, and special passes for our concerts at the Melbourne Recital Centre. Book now and save with our special early bird prices! Go to our registration page.
Competition entries are being accepted. Entrants who also register for the festival will receive a complimentary published copy of the new Australian competition set works; Night Birds by Andrew Schultz for clarinettists commissioned by Clasax, and Night Drive by Stuart Greenbaum for saxophonists. Both of these works are published by Reed Music. Cash prizes and performance opportunities are on offer for winners, and finalists may be selected for participation in masterclasses. Enter now!
Volunteering at the Festival
Many hands make for a great festival, and we will need help during festival time with looking after artists, assisting at our performances venues and in the lead up to the festival helping us distribute flyers. If you are interested in helping out, please contact us.
