CLASAX are pleased to present the 2014 Junior CLASAX Day, this year including both clarinet and sax students, on Friday 1th April at High Street Uniting Church (Mt Waverley) with Ben Snowdon and Fiona McKellar.
This day is for all clarinet and saxophone students who range from beginners to AMEB Grade 4 standard . Students will spend the day as part of an ensemble, led by educators and single reed players Ben Snowdon and Fiona McKellar. Activities will include:
- Workshops on breathing, tonguing and other techniques
- Playing great music in small and large ensembles
- Making new friends who play clarinet and saxophone
- Showcasing the day’s activities in an open session for family and friends at the end of the day
