This day is for all clarinet and saxophone students who range from beginners to AMEB Grade 4 standard . The purpose of the day is not to develop virtuosic skills on the instrument, but to have fun and enjoy making music! Students will spend the day as part of an ensemble, led by educators and single reed players Ben Snowdon and Daniel Nealon. Activities will include:
♫ Workshops on breathing, tonguing and other techniques, and a session with D’Addario reeds
♫ Playing great music in small and large ensembles
♫ Making new friends who play clarinet and saxophone
♫ Showcasing the day’s activities in an open session for family and friends at the end of the day
Please note that students will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and music stand to the day
